TID and MID prepared a Draft CEQA Supplemental Analysis in an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) format for the Don Pedro Hydroelectric Project FERC Relicensing and La Grange Hydroelectric Project FERC Licensing. The Draft CEQA Supplemental Analysis IS/MND was available for public review June 27 – July 27, 2025.
As a result of public and agency comments on the Draft CEQA Supplemental Analysis IS/MND, TID and MID are now preparing an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Don Pedro Hydroelectric Project FERC Relicensing and La Grange Hydroelectric Project FERC Licensing. The Notice of Preparation for the EIR is provided below and initiates the EIR process through which TID and MID will refine the range of issues and alternatives to be analyzed in the EIR.
Written comments regarding the scope and content of the EIR are encouraged to be submitted during the scoping period from January 30 – February 28, 2026, to the contact listed below. For e-mailed comments, please include the project title in the subject line and include the commenter’s name and U.S. Postal Service mailing address.
